CANADIAN DENTAL CARE PLAN
The Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP) is a federal initiative aimed at providing accessible dental care to Canadians who have an adjusted household income of under $90,000 and do not have other private dental insurance. You must be a Canadian resident for tax purposes and have filed your tax return in the previous year. The plan is administered by Sun Life.

How much is covered?
For services covered, this is based on your net household income:
Under $70,000: 100% of eligible oral health care service costs will be covered at the CDCP established fees
$70,000 - $79,999: 60% of eligible oral health care service costs will be covered at the CDCP established fees
$80,000 - $89,999: 40% of eligible oral health care service costs will be covered at the CDCP established fees
CDCP Fee Guide is lower than the ODA Suggested Fee Guide and balance billing is permitted.
